How finger foods aid development

As soon as your little one start solids, introduce different types and textures of food and encourage them to have fun touching, holding and exploring it. Here’s just a few of the benefits of introducing finger foods to your little one:

From around +12 months, it is advised that toddlers should be consuming 3 meals and 2 healthy snacks over the course of a day, in line with NHS guidance. This is because little ones tummies are smaller than an adults, which means they need to eat smaller meals more regularly.
